Ready

Yesterday was back to school shopping day for us...Only because the uniforms were on sale...Parker was so excited!  If you watched the video a while back, you'll know that wearing uniforms is a highlight for her.  I hope she still feels this way in a few years. 

Her baby doll Melissa got one too, which makes Parker even more thrilled!  I think they look pretty cute together!

Lemonade

Life is sweeter with lemonade right?!

The girls had their first lemonade stand today!  They were so excited and have been asking for months now to have one.

Today was the perfect day for it.  They raised $14 and are donating it to the Wichita Children's Home via Vacation Bible School.  Each year they pick an organization to help by raising money, or donations of needed goods!  Each year the girls empty out the piggy banks and give the money to VBS...This year I thought this would be a fun way to raise money to donate and it was!  I'm thinking more stands are in our future.

Father's Day

Happy Father's Day!!

We spent the evening at my brother's house to celebrate Father's Day this year.  The girls had a blast playing with cousin Evan, and his fun toys!  I'm so thankful for my dad and all that he does for me and my family!  He loves with a big heart, and would do anything for us.  Thanks for all that you do dad, I love you!!

Chris can't go unmentioned either!  He is an amazing dad to our girls.  They adore him, and LOVE playing with him.  He's such a wonderful father and I love watching him interact with the girls.  There's definitely something about the bonds between fathers and daughters!  We love you!

Summer Time Fun

We've been doing a lot of this already this summer...

Everyday we head to the pool for swim lessons...then head home for lunch....then head back to the pool for a few hours...then head home again!

Every once in a while someone will get so tuckered out that they'll take a nap...even though they're not tired!  Parker has fallen victim to this as well..I just didn't get a picture of her!

Also this summer the girls are taking gymnastics on Monday nights

They seem to be really enjoying it!  We're having a great summer so far.

Sweet Sisters

I love how my girls get along so well, and really do love each other.  I remember being so nervous when I found out I was pregnant again with Brecken so soon...I had planned on waiting a little while longer, but God had other plans for us!  They are 22 months apart, which is perfect for our family.  They want to play together all the time, even during quiet time...I always have to remind them, that then it wouldn't be quiet time would it:)  Saturday morning, they'd already made plans to sleep together in the same bed in Parker's room.  Actually they decided that they now wanted to share a room.  Anyway, we let them for one night, and they were so excited.  I just hope they continue to love each other, and grow up to be each others best friend!

Of course, I went upstairs, turned on all the lights and took pictures of the girls sleeping!

Gone!!

It's been a big weekend for Parker!  First, learning to ride her bike, then losing her first tooth!!  It's been dangling for a few days now, and Chris thought it might need a little help.  He's going to be in KC tomorrow, so he thought they better do it tonight.  With a little string, and a quick pull, it was out~

Brecken is excited for her too.  As I was coming down the stairs, Brecken was talking to Parker from her room down the hall.

B:  "Hey Parker, the tooth fairy is coming tonight"

P:  "Yeaa"

B:  "cause you loose your teeth"

P:  "I know"
