Long Overdue

This will be the huge catch up post...with pictures that is!  It's not that we haven't been busy, and have had a lack of things to post about...I just haven't taken the time to update.  Since Thanksgiving we've hosted a surprise birthday party for Chris' mom, attended Christmas programs for the girls, made gingerbread houses, traveled to KC to celebrate Christmas with family all while getting ready for Christmas at home!  Whew.  Downloading all the pictures made me realize what a slacker I've been during this busy season.  At least I took pictures of most of it!  We wish everyone a very Merry Christmas!

We still have a Christmas program to go at Church on Christmas Eve.  The girls will be Angels in the program this year.  We'll celebrate at my parent's and then be home with no where to go on Christmas!  Next week the craziness comes back with Parker's 6th Birthday and getting to spend some time with daddy at home!

This year was Brecken's first year to participate in the Thanksgiving Feast!  She did such a great job singing, and had so much fun!!

Joy

One of the things we loved about our neighborhood is the trees.  It's also one of the things we hate.  The leaves in the fall are out. of. control.  We bagged up10+ bags of leaves today.  The girls however, thought it was a blast!  You can see the joy in their faces as they played in the last big pile we had left late in the day.

Birthday Girl

The Birthday Girl turned four today!  She's been so excited about her birthday all week.  Yesterday she woke up with a huge smile on her face, and asked "is it my birthday today?"  "No, sweetie, tomorrow is your birthday"..so today she was ready! 

We had a big day planned!  We had donuts for breakfast, a ballerina themed party in the afternoon, and a family dinner tonight.  She went to bed happy tonight!

October...

Every year the month of October seems to be busy.  As in Out. Of. Control.  We've been to Kansas City to celebrate birthdays and baby dedications, Chris has been out of town on a father/son fishing trip with his brothers and dad, we headed back on the road for a weenie roast at my Aunt & Uncle's house, celebrated an engagement, we've had soccer every Saturday morning, an upcoming birthday and a few more events in between all of those.  We've been busy to say the least, and the end isn't in sight yet.  BUT it's been fun!
